EVERYTHING IS GLASS, it’s truly a beautiful set. I don’t have much experience with glass quills, but it was easy to use and the inks are great. They don’t bleed through the paper too quickly and the inks are water soluble. The inks are meant to be transparent and metallic I think, but the glitter doesn’t show up well on white paper. I bought a black rainbow set and a white/blue set, both are very shiny and well made.
